She was an average teenage girl that somehow managed to survive The Rising for as long as she did. Surprisingly, it wasn't the vampires that brought an abrupt end to Cynthia's short life. She was one of several victims that was murdered by a mysterious killer.
Before The Rising, Cynthia was just a normal teenager, she went to school, had a boyfriend, and even a normal family, her only known family members were her mother, father and brother. The last time she saw them was before they left for Hawaii, she was suppose to go with them but lied and stayed behind, because of this she has no idea what actually happened to her family.
Cynthia is one of the survivors that returned to the facility with Ted after his six month absence. In the lab, she unknowingly leans up against the cage containing a vampire named Doc, she quickly learns the truth when Doc tries to grab her though the cage. That night, after Karen is bitten by one of the vampires that infiltrated the facility, Cynthia is forced to put her out of her misery. During the aftermath, she tells Sam her story. Sam and Mohamad inform Cynthia of the incident that took place on the rooftop of the hospital, which included Vanessa getting stabbed in the hand by Ted and her using that same knife to stab Ted in the eye, and then immediately healing after removing the blade. She then enters the main room to see Vanessa conversing with Doc, Cynthia questions what she was doing and if she herself is a vampire. Continue Reading Here....
Cynthia's body is found hanging in the hallway of the hospital, she's initially found by Flesh, who claims to have been sleep walking, the group suspects her death as a suicide, while some understand how this could happen, others are in denial, such as Nicole. Her body is taken to the exam room, and Doc removes her shows as she would no longer have a use for them. As she prepares to examine Cynthia, Doc notices that her finger was cut off, after she died, not only that but the ligature marks on her neck, the rope left friction burn, instead of bruising, suggesting that Cynthia was murdered. Cynthia is tougher than she appears, with little to no hesitation, she bashes Karen head in with a fire extinguisher after she is bitten, whether or not this was to spare Karen the agony of becoming a vampire or just self preservation is currently unknown. However, this doesn't make her fearless as she was terrified when Doc attempted to attack her.
Cynthia has yet to display any not worthy skills or abilities, and now that's she's deceased, it's very unlikely that she ever will.
