Count Dalibor von Dracula is a recurring character on Syfy's Van Helsing. He is played by Kim Coates
Dalibor became the Count of Transylvania when he defeated his predecessor Anton in combat. At some point, he married Countess Olivia von Dracula; he loved her so dearly that he became the first Count of Transylvania to include his wife in his official portrait. For a number of years he and his wife struggled to conceive a child until a nun by the name of Michaela offered her services as a midwife; within a matter of months Olivia fell pregnant. She later gave birth to their son, Christoff von Dracula.

Count Dalibor returns to the castle to learn that his wife Olivia has given birth to their first and only child, Christoff. Now that his and Olivia’s son has been born into the world, Count Dalibor asks for Michaela to leave, as her service is no longer needed. After a strange encounter with Jack and Florian, in which they claimed that vampires were attacking the town, Count Dalibor learns that his wife has fallen ill and begs Michaela for help. After Olivia's death, Count Dalibor sanctions Jack's death. He later discovers that Michaela has used some form of dark magic to resurrect Olivia. Count Dalibor then confronts Michaela for resurrecting Olivia. Sword drawn, he threatens to kill Michaela, but she isn't convinced. Count Dalibor then takes Olivia to a secluded room in the castle, where she must remain so as not to be seen. She places his hand on her heart and reminds him that they made a promise to love each other until death. Dalibor replies that her heart no longer beats and that she is not what she once was. Count Dalibor flees the castle with his son and tasks Captain Rasto with seeing to his safe passage, but they are taken by Dracula. Count Dalibor then arrives at the camp in search of Jack and explains that he has to save his son, who has been taken by the Dark One. With Bathory using a dark scroll, Dalibor manages to trick Michaela with an illusion, leaving her vulnerable to attack and ultimately resulting in Dalibor cutting off her head. However, for his betrayal, he is turned into a vampire, only to be turned back by Jack, though he is injured in the process. Count Dalibor is a tall man with medium length dark brown hair and blue eyes. He has a small beard and moustache. He often wears brown and black clothes that display his wealth and status but are still fairly practical.
